Spirits of the Southern Gentleman

When commissioned to photograph a special assignment for a local publication I was captivated by the intriguing theme; The Modern Day Gentleman. Clad in sophisticated, sometimes funky attire, these characters were placed in a speak-easy setting to enjoy fine spirits. The atmosphere was captured utilizing a simple film noir. This style minimizes distraction and focuses on negative space; bringing the subject to life. The result places the viewer in an appropriately nostalgic mood.
